Nathan Steele, M.D, D.D.S.
Dr. Steele grew up in a small suburb in Southern California and he and his family moved to Cheyenne in July of 2014 and since have chosen to make a permanent home here. He has both DDS and MD degrees and has extensive training in all aspects of oral & maxillofacial surgery. He has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from The University of California Los Angeles, a doctor of dental surgery from University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and his doctor of medicine from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed a year of general surgery and resdency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Steele is a member of several professional groups including the Wyoming society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association (national, state and local branches), Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, and the Baylor Oral and Maxillofacial Alumni Association. He also is a proud member on the Wyoming cleft lip and palate team. He operates and has privileges at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and is a diplomate for the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Steele met his wife, Allie in their hometown Valencia and they are proud parents of two boys. His personal interest and hobbies include spending time with family, travel, golf and the outdoors.
Chad Petersen, D.D.S.
Dr. Chad Petersen is originally from Casper, Wyoming where he graduated from Kelly Walsh High School. He earned his bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Wyoming, after which he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry where he earned his doctor of dental surgery degree. He then completed a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Chicago at the University of Illinois and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His training included comprehensive experience in both hospital and office-based surgery and anesthesia.
Dr. Petersen and his wife Mandi, also a Casper native, are excited to be back home in Wyoming and raise their family here. They have three children, two boys and a girl. When not treating patients, Dr. Petersen enjoys getting outdoors, spending time with family and watching UW sports. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Wyoming Dental Association.
